Douglas Fir Firewood
Doug Fir is easy to start fires and produces quick heat. This great all around burning firewood is a staple in Oregon. Its recognized by its warm red color and wonderful smell. Its also much denser then Pine and puts out a very good amount of heat with a decent longevity in it's burn times. Considered a medium density species that is not hardwood by any means, however it is way better then burning softwood like Pine.
Douglas Fir/Hardwood Mix Firewood
We take the same great burning Douglas Fir and mix it with Oak, Maple and Alder to create some incredible burning firewood. The Douglas Fir is great a starting easily and creating quick heat, while the super dense hardwoods keep the fire going all night. By adding the hardwood you can cut down the overall cord quantity you will need to get through a winter.
All Hardwood Mix Firewood
Hardwood is by far the best firewood to burn in almost every comparable way. Hardwoods like Oak, Maple and Alder are extremely dense providing over night burn times. They do not have pitch and burn very clean. They also produce the highest BTU output per cord. Not only is hardwood great to use in your wood stove or fireplace, it's also used for cooking, BBQ, smoking food and pizza ovens.

Firewood For Pickup-You Load
KA Ranch has a firewood yard in west Eugene that is open by appointment only to pickup split firewood.
If you would like to pickup a small or large quantity at our yard we sell wood by the cubic foot, 1/4 cord, 1/2 cord, 1 cord and multi cord amounts. The firewood is available for the customer to load into your own truck or trailer.
Firewood For Pickup-We Load
KA Ranch has a firewood yard in west Eugene that is open by appointment only to pickup split firewood. We stock log lift bags that measure 4'x4'x5' when full and hold approximately a 1/3 of a cord.
We can load the log lift bags right into your truck or trailer for an quick and easy pickup that just takes a few minutes. Please bring strong rope or ratchet straps to secure your firewood load.
Onsite Firewood Processing
If you have a larger supply of firewood logs on your property that you would like to get processed into firewood we have you covered. We can bring out a large mobile firewood processing machine, tractor loader with a grapple and a full size log loader if necessary to facilitate also most any size job.
Our firewood processor can produce 3-7 cords per hour depending on the size and quality of the logs we are running. Call us to discuss your logging or clearing job, let us help.
